Florida museum of natural history is located at university of florida and is the largest museum in south east. This museums displays all florida natural history with over 25million specimens. This museum is opened on january 1998 and it exhibits many educational and scientific programs.The main museum is free of charge, the butterfly exhibit requires a paid ticket. Exhibits include the Butterfly Rainforest, Florida Fossils,Northwest Florida: Waterways and Wildlife, the Pearsall Collection of American Indian Art. the Fossil Plant Garden and many more. Florida museum of natural history going to conduct Florida Butterfly Festival on Oct. 14-15 2006.
