Playa Hotels & Resorts purchased the Cancun belongings for $38 million following$9 million indemnity completion. The hotel had been harshly spoiled during the 2005 hurricane period and reopened this past April after a wide-ranging restoration.
Remodeling that incorporated: repairs to the sea wall, swimming pools, roof and tower structures, as well as the lobby, restaurants, and other general areas of the assets. Playa plans on supplementary renovations and enhancement to guest rooms, together with the hotel's 16 beachside villas.
