When Jim Booritch first considered export a home in an original community here, it was going to be a speculation he would use part of the year.
But Booritch soon determined to trade in the cold winters of Pittsburgh for life as a full-time resident of Tuscany at the Reserve, a gated society within Venetian Bay, a massive planned community between Pioneer Trail and State Road 44, just east of Samsula.
What concerned him to the project, he said, was the whole new urbanism theory of a town center, where inhabitants can work, play and entertain in their own backyard and leave their cars at residence.
